Day 6 Food/Exercise Log

Did you all celebrate Resurrection Sunday? What did you eat?

I was so blessed yesterday (Easter Sunday) thinking of Jesus and how he voluntarily gave His life, not because our SIN was so BIG, but because His love was SO BIG! Has anyone ever told you that they’d do anything for you? Often people say they’d be willing to die in place of their children, trying to express how much they LOVE them. Understandable, I feel the same way about my kids. The Bible says that “God SO loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”–John 3:16. This means that God gave voluntarily the perfect payment for our sins, HIS SON. That’s extreme. That’s an expression of true love, but that’s not even the end of it. He then went on to conquer death so that even though we pass from this physical life into eternity spiritually, death has no hold on us. He translates us into the “kingdom of his dear son” Colossians 1:13 and we are kept by the power of the God who created us and “gave Himself for us.” Sooo yeah, resurrection is a big deal. How could Jesus keep us, guarantee us eternity in heaven if he didn’t even conquer death for himself? God gave His son as the perfect payment because the cost of our sinful nature was an eternal death, the Bible says “the wages of sin is death, but the GIFT of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Thank you Lord for gift of your son, thank you that He didn’t stay dead and that I can have a relationship with you because of His voluntary act of true love. You weren’t all talk and no show like so many of us, you were and are the REAL DEAL! When you said you loved us, you not only TOLD us you’d be willing to give your son, you gave Him and He went of His own will.

I did not share my Easter Eatings, but I promise, I was a good little girl and ate green veggies, fat bombs and Pork Tenderloin wrapped in bacon and stuffed with cream cheese!!!!

So I skipped a couple of days, not because I deviated from my diet, I didn’t, but because life happens and when you boil it all down, I had a couple of lazy days. More like Dan had to work over the weekend, so very very busy days chasing after a 4 year old and a 14 month old in what seemed like a never ending work week. Thankfully we did get in a nice long walk, ate healthy food and overall enjoyed the weekend. What are some of your favorite weekend activities that you look forward to? Walking is therapeutic for me, I love walking and chatting with Daniel, especially with our NEW STROLLER WOOHOO! I know, I have reached that point in my life where things like a smooth gliding double jogging stroller get me real excited.

Today I ran and walked intervals with MapMyFitness! Distance: 2.97mi, time: 41:15, pace: 13:54min/mi, speed: 4.32mi/h.

I was trying to share my food diary from MyFitnessPal, but they are stinkers and won’t allow that unless you pay for their program. It’s funny how greedy these programs get as they gain users and popularity, they get big heads and charge for everything. I have loved using SparkPeople for years, but all of the sudden they limit your usage unless you buy their monthly programs. Anyway, fitness bittaness…..


Water and supplements

Coffee, Dash Heavy Cream and dash of Califia Creamer Vanilla

2 eggs, 2 bacon strips, 1 sausage link + 1/2 haas avocado


Tomato Soup and Green Beans

Homemade leftover meatballs with cheese in the middle


1 fat bomb

2oz cheddar cheese (organic)

3 baby dill pickles

Ginger Ale Zevia


Stir Fried Uncured Polska Kielbasa Sausage with Cabbage and Red Bell Pepper (a bowl of this is probably like 2 cups worth)
