Prosciutto Wrapped Goat Cheese Dates

Doesn’t the name just say it all? Goat cheese is very similar in taste and texture to cream cheese. The combo of sweet dates, creamy goat cheese and salty prosciutto make this a beyond impressive appetizer.

10 large medjool dates pitted

About 9 Tbsp goat cheese

5 slices thinly sliced prosciutto (cut down the middle long ways)

Simply slice open long ways your dates, remove the pit and replace with plenty of goat cheese, then wrap in a piece of prosciutto and place on a baking sheet covered with foil about an inch apart. Bake at 400° for 7 minutes, then flip over and bake 7 more minutes. Let cool at least 10 minutes as the sugar in the dates will be very hot for some time.

I will be posting variations of this one in the future as there are so many fun ways to make these. Enjoy!
